Mark Niemierko’s St Valentine’s Party

On Wednesday night I was lucky enough to be invited to a St Valentine’s party held by leading Wedding Planner Mark Niemierko.

The evening was staged at the Clerkenwell shop of McQueens, the brilliantly talented florists. There were lots of interesting people there from the wedding world and I was lucky enough to chat with the gorgeous Philippa Onslow from Confetti.co.uk and the very talented Make-Up artist, Lina Cameron.

The Champagne flowed all night and there were wonderful canapés supplied by Mustard Catering and delicious cup cakes by Maisie Fantaisie.

A fabulous event to get us all in the mood for the Designer Wedding Show this weekend!

The variety of colours, styles and types of flowers used in bridal bouquets never ceases to amaze me.

There are some amazing florists supplying the flowers for weddings and I’m lucky enough to come across some of them on a weekly basis.

Amongst my favourites are McQueens, Jane Packer, Matthew Dickinson, Jades Flower Designs, Paula Pryke, L K Lily, Ashleigh Hopkins and Aurora.
