Last week I was invited by the team at
Bovingdons to look around their new venture,
Nonsuch Mansion.
Nonsuch Mansion is a Georgian building set in 300 acres of parkland near Cheam in Surrey. It is now in the final stages of renovation and the function rooms and hallways are looking amazing.

What I really like are the gorgeous wallpaper prints that they have managed to find. I feature a few here but I’m afraid the iPhone images don’t really do them justice. The décor throughout has a real feeling of luxury to it and althought the rooms are large and the ceilings high, the warm colour palette lends the interior a feeling of intimacy.

This doggy pattern is ‘flock’ wallpaper and the dogs have a velvety feel to them.
They are already taking bookings for 2009/10 and I look forward to photographing my first wedding at Nonsuch Mansion!

Last posting before we head back to the airport. The photos below include a sillouhette of the Sagrada Familia (still under construction, est. completion date 2026), a shot from under my parasol on the beach, the City of Barcelona as seen from Montjuic and the palm trees of Plaza Real.
Thanks for all the great emails, twitters and comments; it’s nice to know you like the photographs
