Terry O’Neill at the Chris Beetles Gallery

Lloyd February 22nd, 2010

Last week I popped along to the Chris Beetles Gallery in St James’ to enjoy a few glasses of Champagne and meet Terry O’Neill. The photographer who made his name in the sixties and seventies capturing the great and the good of Hollywood, was launching a exhibition of some of his images called ‘New and Unseen’.

Displayed on the walls of the gallery were the portraits of Frank Sinatra, Steve McQueen, Audrey Hepburn, Mick Jagger and many others.

Among the visitors that night was fellow photographer John Swannell pictured below on the right.

Of course, Terry insisted on having his photograph taken with me and it seemed churlish to refuse….
