Wedding Photography at Wrest Park
Lloyd July 29th, 2010

The couple were married at a civil cermony held in the Archer’s Pavilion, a small but classical piece of architecture built by a long ornamental pond. Due to the size of the interior the ceremony was only attended by around a dozen guests and a string quartet (plus photographer, natch).
After the ‘legal’ ceremony we all dashed off to St James’ church in nearby Silsoe where another 100 or so guests awaited to witness the blessing of the marriage. Richard is a serving naval officer and the newlyweds were greeted outside the church by a guard of honour made up of six of the groom’s colleagues.
The drinks reception was held on the terrace of the mansion which gave a superb view of the estate. Champagne and canapés were served before we all walked a few hundred yards across the park to the Orangery where the rest of the celebrations were located.
